Guidelines:
Three-Level Championship - The Southwest US Championships offers three levels of competition in several categories. The contestant and or director determine level.

Beginner Level - is a Beginner level of competition offered for contestants with little to no previous competition experience. This is a trophy only category.

Amateur Level - is an Intermediate level of competition offered for contestants with moderate competition experience. This is a trophy only category with opportunity to quality for the USA National Clogging Championships.

Masters Level - is an Advanced level of competition offered for contestants with extensive competition experience. This is a trophy and prize money category with the opportunity to quality for the USA National Clogging Championships.

Video Camera Policy

Personal
video cameras will be allowed, however on a limited basis.
All video cameras must be registered with the event.
Cameras may not obstruct the view of any contestant or spectator.
Video registration fees are $30 per video camera. Spectators and participants booking with the Doubletree
Paradise Valley Resort by June 1 will receive one complimentary video
pass and Souvenir Program per room.

events will again offer participants, spectators and family members the
opportunity to place personal messages in our Official Souvenir Program.
This is your way to wish your favorite group, director, dancer or family
member the best of luck. Just
forward your messages along with $7 per message.
Each message can be up to 25 words in length.

Workshop
Line Dance Team -
We
are pleased to offer this unique category. The Workshop Dance Team
category offers groups the opportunity to compete in a category featuring the
choreography of workshop style line dances. The rules are the same
as the Line Team category, with the added requirement for the performance of a
workshop style routine with repeating parts choreographed to various sections of
the music. Teams may dance to original workshop style choreography or
perform any one of their favorite workshop treasures.
